Ethical Channel

Adif’s Code of Ethics

The purpose of Adif’s Code of Ethics, approved by the Board of Directors, is to formalize the expected best practices of upstanding, responsible and transparent behaviour of all the people working in Adif, while performing their everyday activities and in their professional relationships.

The Code aims to translate Adif’s corporate values and principles into desired behaviour, taking as a starting point the organisation’s culture, the legislation applicable to it and the company’s commitment to ethics and transparency.

Ethical Channel

The Ethical Channel is the communication channel between Adif and its interest groups and society in general so that anyone may notify possible breaches of the Code of Ethics and Conduct.

Only notifications relating to the Adif Code of Ethics and Conduct will be attended.

For communications that are not related to the Code of Ethics and Conduct, the following channels are available:

  • Comunicacionweb@adif.es
  • Electronic headquarters (available on the website). Virtual office for accessing information and online services
  • Customer Service Office. Official complaints may be made in the Official Complaints Book in the stations

Channel conditions of use:

  • Messages must not include offensive language
  • Anonymous notifications will be accepted provided they are accompanied by documentary evidence
  • Adif will take all necessary measures to guarantee both the confidentiality of the informer and the right to honour of those persons who may be accused of breaching the code
  • All notifications received that comply with the established requirements will be answered

Notifications Form

ADIF and ADIF ALTA VELOCIDAD have implemented a new computer platform for notifications, queries, doubts and/or complaints related to the application of our Code of Ethics and Conduct, as well as for reporting any possible unethical breach or violation or that flouts the rule of law or the regulations governing both entities, which is accessible via the below link.

This communication platform is offered through the Xperta commercial application hosted on servers that meet the highest standards of cyber security in accordance with the National Security Scheme, and also comply with all the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations and the Organic Law on Data Protection and the Guarantee of Digital Rights.

All communications made through this Ethical Channel management platform will be encrypted and confidential. The option of anonymous reporting is also allowed, with there being no requirement to identify yourself in the name field.  
However, if you would like to be informed about the status of your notification and when the issue is resolved, please provide an e-mail address.

Please do not use the Ethical Channel to make malicious, unfounded or unsubstantiated notifications to support the investigation, processing and subsequent resolution of reported alleged breaches.
